Welcome to a WordPress blog that provides an example of how you might organize your Learning Log for the EDTECH program at Boise State. This static home page is where you might introduce yourself and the purpose of this blog. You might want to include your current status in the EDTECH program or progress you’ve made toward compiling, reflecting upon, and organizing your ePortfolio.
Your reflections along with artifacts could then be available through the regular blog posts page (“Artifacts/Reflections”), which could include posts about artifacts, along with links to the artifact and other reflections.
You can use the categories feature of a blog to create your AECT Standards, which you can then apply to your posts. The categories will only show up in your gadget when you have posted something that you categorize. However, you can always set up your categories at the beginning, so you have them all to apply to your posts. You might want to also tag each post with your course number and other tags of your choosing. Here is a quick video tutorial showing how to do this:
If you want to use another platform, that’s okay. However, we think that you will benefit from using a blog, which provides an easy way to post reflections, receive feedback, and organize your work in a professional and attractive way.
